When the culture has more respect for human kings, queens, dignitaries, and government buildings than the God of Creation, it’s an indication that the standard for honor has been lowered as it pertains for His Kingdom, His Word, sanctuary, and glory.

God is not a man. He is THE of all Kings. Creator of the world. All majesty, dominion, and power belong to Him. He is not the homie. He is a good Father. He is not common. He is peculiar. Everything connected to Him deserves the highest level of respect and honor. 

The Gospel is enough. Any anecdote, strategy, or creative endeavor that doesn’t align with the Biblical plan for discipleship, leads people to a false God. The God of Genesis 1:1 requires us to be born again, a heart transplant that entices us to turn away from sin, not to it. Whereby, we become a new creation. The power of God won’t allow us to remain to the same! 

If carnality is the bait used to draw people, carnality will be the drug required to keep them. Preach Jesus. He is well capable of compelling the human heart. Our natural understanding of humans, how we think, operate, or function, is a degraded version of the wisdom of God. He doesn’t need us to draw humanity to Him, but rather He invites us to be a part of the legacy of salvation and regeneration for His Kingdom’s culture, by the power of the Holy Spirit. Therefore, we should take ourselves out of it and …take it seriously. We should lean into His wisdom, discernment, and instructions rather than rely on the current familiar pulse of the world’s culture. 

Our culture has become too comfortable with subpar standards and fearful of righteousness judgment that calls for accountability due to fandom. That is, more loyal to defending a lie than standing on the side of truth. Believers are growing more familiar and addicted to the world and the “things of world”, under the guise of discipleship. 

Sanctification is our charge. He calls us to be set apart, discerning, and upholders of truth. Any other form of godly is deception.
